Trantor's mission is to help you leverage your contacts and the contacts of others to extend your reach to other professionals. In order to deliver on that mission, we need to collect and use Personal Information and Website Usage Information, and the details on how we do that are below. At a high level, our Privacy Policy is based on two simple principles: What's yours is yours, and what's ours is ours.
Yours: We will never sell the information you provide us to anyone, for any reason. If you deactivate your account, we will delete all of your information from our database. Ours: We have a lot of our own data that we have purchased from data providers or collected from the web. We leverage this information to deliver powerful capabilities to our users. We will be open and honest about how we use your information. We believe in 100% transparency. If you don't like anything about our policy, let us know and we will consider changes.

Clear GIFs
We may also use "Clear GIFs" (aka "web beacons" or "pixel tags") or similar technologies in our Service and/or in our communications with you. A Clear GIF is typically a one-pixel, transparent image located on a web page or in an email or other type of message, which helps us to verify an individual's viewing or receipt of a web page or message. Clear GIFs allow us to know whether you have viewed a web page prior to visiting our Service and may enable us to relate such information to other information, including your Personal Information. We use the information provided from Clear GIFs to enable more accurate reporting, improve the effectiveness of our marketing, and make Trantor better for our users.

We do not use personally identifiable information for marketing purposes, except when permission is granted (for voluntary testimonials, as an example).
We may use your Personal Information – in particular, your email address – to send you emails with regards to our Service. When receiving such emails, you will be given the ability to opt-out of receiving similar emails in the future.
